Thanks for clicking through to the booking page. Sorry
about this but first here's all the boring but very
important bit, including the COVID-19 safety stuff!
Please note that in the event of national or local
lockdown measures being imposed or if I
develop any symptoms prior to the workshop and
this workshop has to be cancelled, you will
receive a
full refund of the course fee.
Student
Declaration
By booking for the
workshop, you confirm and agree that:
- You are over 18
- You are not
pregnant and have not had surgery in the past six
months
- You have no physical
or mental conditions which might affect your
practice of Qi Gong; you will advise me by email in
advance of the workshop or any Zoom class of any
injuries or illnesses; and you will check with your
GP that it is safe for you to train if you have any
such conditions
- You
will not teach any of the material from the workshop
or the Zoom classes without successfully undergoing formal
instructor training
- You accept that as a practice working with
the body, mind, energy and emotions, there are
risks in the learning and practice of Qi Gong
- You
will not attend the workshop if you’re not well,
or have or have had any COVID-19, cold or flu
symptoms within the
previous ten days – I will
offer you a full refund
- You
have not (as far as you are aware) been in close
contact* with anyone with COVID-19 symptoms**
within the previous 14 days
- You
will inform me immediately if you have any onset
of symptoms within 48 hours of attending the
workshop and get yourself tested
for COVID-19
- You
will provide me with your contact details (email
address/mobile number for texting/home number) by
email at least three days prior to the workshop –
these may be required for the NHS Test and Trace
System
- You
will advise me at least seven days in advance by
email if you’re aware that you have any allergies
to sanitiser products
- You
will sanitise your hands when you enter the hall
(sanitiser will be provided), regularly throughout
the workshop, especially if you make contact with
any hall furniture or infrastructure, and when you
leave at the end of the workshop
- You
will wear a face mask throughout the workshop and
at all times when in the hall; if you are exempt
from wearing a face covering, you will advise me
at least three days in advance of the workshop by
email
- If
you have a suitable device (i.e. a smartphone),
please download
the official NHS COVID-19 contact tracing app
and scan the QR code poster on entering the hall
- You
recognise that this site only gives a brief
summary of COVID-19 safety measures as at the time
of writing, so you will follow all the most
up-to-date requirements and advice as laid down by
the NHS
and on the gov.uk
website
By booking for the Zoom
classes you further confirm and agree that:
- You
will attend the class in a clear, safe space with no
hazards, especially trip hazards such as cats, dogs,
children, toys, furniture etc.
- You
will attend the sessions through a digital device
with both video camera and microphone
- You will position your
camera so that the picture of your body fills the
frame from the bottom of your feet to the top of
your head

With a PayPal Account:
Use the drop down menu to choose your date,
then click the 'Buy Now' button. The secure
PayPal page will open, where you
can log in to your PayPal
account.
Without a PayPal Account:
Use the drop down menu
to choose your date, then click
the 'Buy Now' button. If
you don't have an account, simply click the
'Check out as a guest' option or the 'Pay with
debit or credit card' button and then follow
the on-screen instructions.
*The UK Government
defines ‘close contact’ as having been face to face
and within one metre of an infected person for at
least one minute OR having been within 2 metres of an
infected person for at least 15 minutes anytime from 2
days before the person was symptomatic and up to 7
days from the onset of symptoms.
** The UK Government
defines the main symptoms of coronavirus as (most people
with coronavirus have at least 1 of these
symptoms):
- a high temperature –
this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or
back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough –
this means coughing a lot for more than an hour,
or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you
usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to
your sense of smell or taste – this means you've
noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or
things smell or taste different to normal
